At J&R Harkin, Auckland house removers, we love to see one for houses that has been moved from it’s home, moved to our yard, then moved to a new place and given a new lease on life.  This is house recycling at its best.

You can buy a pre-loved or recycled house from us and we will then move it for you to your new site.  Check out the photos of this great three bedroom house that was originally from Snells Beach, just north of Auckland.  The house was moved from Snells Beach to Warkworth, with a short stop-over in our sales yard in Te Hana.  Most houses that we move go to our yard first because plans of the house located on it’s new site will need to be prepared for submission to the relevant Council for approval.

In this particular move the owners submission to Auckland City Council took 30 days from submission to approval.  There were few questions from the Council as most of what was submitted in the consent was ‘as built’, which means that the house is already built so you don’t have to supply the details of how you will build each part of it.
